PT Kimia Farma (Persero) Tbk (Kimia Farma) has partnered with PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero) Tbk to develop digitalisation aimed at making work faster, more efficient and effective. Telkom's Director of Enterprise and Business Service, Dian Rachmawan, said that the company had transformed from traditional telco to internet and welcomed state-owned enterprises (SOEs) that wanted to transform digitally. Telkom sees SOEs as a large market share and has the capability to provide digital infrastructure. The company believes it can push for the implementation of ICT or digitalisation with its digital ecosystem capabilities and telecommunications infrastructure that reaches all of Indonesia. Kimia Farma's digitalisation programme is expected to realise the Ministry of SOEs' hopes for digitalisation of SOEs in Indonesia.
Other SOEs such as Angkasa Pura II, PTPN, Taspen and Pos Indonesia are also preparing to transform into the digital world. This will enable hundreds of SOEs to work faster in line with the demands of the times.
Telkom's Dian Rachmawan said that traditional telco would not be sustainable and that SOEs were already a large market. Telkom has a long experience in digitalisation and sees itself as an enabler transformer. With its digital ecosystem capabilities and telecommunications infrastructure, the company is confident that it can push for the implementation of ICT or digitalisation.
