Winning the INDI 4.0 Award, Kalbe Proves Digital Transformation in All Lines.

PT Kalbe Farma Tbk has won the INDI 4.0 Awards 2021 from the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia for its innovative and information technology manufacturing practices. The award recognises industries with high competitiveness and a readiness index (INDI) 4.0 in transforming towards Industry 4.0. Kalbe won in the categories of Agressive Digitalization for its Cikarang plant and Agile Organization for its PT Sanghiang Perkasa plant in Cikampek. The award is based on five pillars: Management and Organisation, People and Culture, Products and Services, Technology, and Factory Operations.
Kalbe's President Director, Vidjongtius, said that the company is committed to investing in digital technology, processes, and human resources to build a quality system for every process, product, and service. The award is proof that Kalbe has integrated every business process, from suppliers to consumers, to become a digital transformation leader. The INDI 4.0 Awards 2021 is the third time the award has been given since its launch in 2019.
Kalbe has also developed digital services for both B2B and B2C customers. EMOS is an order management application system that facilitates distribution channels to manage stock or supply chains. KlikDokter is a digital platform for health services, especially telemedicine, that provides health consultations and health products needed by the public. Yudha Agus Tri Basuki, an employee of Kalbe's subsidiary, PT Kalbe Morinaga Indonesia, also received the Digital Transformation Manager award at the same event.
